Financial Insight
This year we launched a new initiative in WA, Financial Insight, to provide 10 grants to public schools in WA to assist in implementing a financial literacy initiative.
The successful recipients of the $2,500 grants are:
- Belmont Primary School (budgeting project)
- Bertram Primary School (garden enterprise project)
- East Carnarvon Primary School (class bankbooks and weekly auction project)
- Hazel Orme Community Kindergarten (kindy shop and bank project)
- Leeman Primary School (paper enterprise project)
- Norseman District High School (fresh food finance project)
- Oberthur Primary School (classroom economy project)
- Pemberton District High School (western solar boats budgeting project)
- Rostrata Primary School (‘how much does that tomato really cost?’ project)
- White Gum Valley Primary School (whole school financial literacy project).
Congratulations to the successful schools and we look forward to sharing how you implement these projects and enhance skills in the cross curricula subject area of financial literacy.
