Future Teacher Scholarships

We offer 5 scholarships of $5,000 per year to Future Teachers, to cover studying related expenses such as course fees or board and lodging.

Why?

Because we’re passionate about the value of public education! It’s also an integral part of our culture to help others. The scholarship is given out to students who understand the value of public education and the need to be proactive in promoting financial literacy when they get into the classroom.

When is it given out?

Money is given to recipients in two instalments - at the beginning of first and second semesters.

Eligibility?

In a nutshell, we look for someone who…

is a resident of NSW, ACT, WA or NT
has completed year 12 (or equivalent) at a public school or TAFE in NSW, ACT, WA or NT
is studying a Bachelor, Diploma or Master of Education
is a member or is eligible to become a member and has a regular direct credit into their account
has completed the application form and attachments
is not the recipient of a scholarship from any other institution or government department.

Applications open from September to January the following year.
